Summit Liability Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Reclamation & Remediation Division as a Senior Environmental Specialist (Contractor or Contract Employee) for Dilly Creek, NE British Columbia.
The Job:
Summit currently has a “camp based” position in NE British Columbia. The work rotation for this position is 2 weeks in and 2 weeks out. Summit compensates the successful candidate for travel expenses (flight or driving) from the areas of Calgary, Edmonton, Fort St. John or NE BC.
You will be supported by the entire Summit organization which consists of a dynamic Team of technical administrators, business development professionals, an in house IT department and many other highly experienced, skilled and educated Professionals. You will report directly to the Regional Manager and Manager, Reclamation & Remediation who are based out of Calgary, AB.
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- Candidates must be prepared to work in a multidisciplinary project team environment
- Ability to undertake a variety of project-related tasks related to remediation/spills
- Minimum 5 years direct oil and gas experience
- Knowledge of British Columbia regulations
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Drilling waste management experience (an asset)
- Knowledge of British Columbia regulations (an asset)
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Strong computer skills
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years direct oil and gas experience
- Extensive Remediation/Spills experience a must
- Some experience on active drilling rigs
- A University Degree or College Diploma (science based) from a recognized institution
- Professional Designation or designation in process

Summit Liability Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Reclamation & Remediation Division as an INTERMEDIATE Environmental Specialist based out of our Head Office in Calgary, AB.
The Job:
Your primary duties include organizing/managing work plans for selected oil and gas clients, follow up with office and field staff to ensure necessary field and office work is executed in a timely fashion, review of all daily field reports, diagrams and site observations, make site recommendations, manage, maintain and track progress on all reports, report writing and review, invoicing, minor software and systems improvement, communication with regulatory bodies and maintenance of client communication and relationship.

Technologist I, II & III (CONSULTANT) View More
Summit Liability Solutions Inc. is seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals to join the Drilling Waste Management Division.
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- Candidates must be prepared to work in a multidisciplinary project team environment
- Ability to undertake a variety of project-related tasks including: drilling fluid sampling, testing and disposal coordination
- Ability to represent Summit during discussions with Landowners, Agents of Regulators and representative of Summit’s customers
- Technologist I = No experience required
- Technologist II = Minimum 1 year experience
- Technologist III = Minimum 3 years experience
- Strong knowledge with provincially specific guidelines
Desired Skills:
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Strong computer skills
Minimum Requirements:
- A University Degree or College Diploma (science based) from a recognized institution
- Professional Designation or willing to pursue an Asset
